Jeanne Perpétue Vincent

Role: Training and Capacity Building

Jeanne Perpétue VINCENT completed her medical degree at the Latin American School of Medicine in Cuba. Following an internship in Haiti, she pursued a master’s program in Public Health at the University of Tsukuba in Japan, where she later earned her PhD in 2019. Dr. Vincent recently joined IRD and the PDMC-SL consortium after serving as a postdoctoral research assistant at Institut Pasteur Paris.

Research and expertise:

Dr. Vincent has conducted research on malaria, assessing the diagnostic accuracy of new tools and identifying antimalarial-resistant variants. Additionally, she is deeply invested in maternal health, leading projects that explore the effects of maternal infections during pregnancy on children. Her work aims to provide public health recommendations for prevention strategies.
