It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Oumou Aïmanou Boukari, a dedicated professional, an inspiring young woman, who left us far too soon.
Born on March 9, 1995, in Parakou, Benin, Oumou was a woman of intellect, resilience, and unwavering commitment to progress. A proud graduate of the Ecole Nationale d’Economie Appliquée et de Management (ENEAM) with a Master’s degree in Project Planning and Management, she combined academic excellence with a deep passion for empowering others.
Throughout her career, Oumou dedicated herself to fostering economic, social development, and public health promotion. She held key roles in renowned organizations, including TechnoServe, Interface Innovation et Développement, and Impact Plus. Most notably, she contributed significantly to the PDMC-SL multi-country project at the Institut de Recherche Clinique du Bénin (IRCB), a critical initiative funded by the European Union and the Global Health EDCTP3 Joint Undertaking. Her dedication played a vital role in ensuring the project’s successful implementation in Benin, reflecting her determination to drive meaningful change.
Beyond her professional achievements, Oumou was a beacon of kindness, joy, and generosity. She was always willing to help others, no matter how demanding her workload, and her presence brought warmth to every environment she entered. She shared her knowledge generously, helping businesses thrive and individuals unlock their potential. Her ability to inspire, her warm presence, and her unwavering work ethic will be remembered by all who had the privilege to know her.
Oumou leaves behind a legacy of dedication, kindness, and excellence. Though her time with us was brief, her impact was profound. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, colleagues, and the countless lives she touched.
